How do I register to vote?

To register, you must be a United States citizen, at least 17 years of age, and live in Maine. You may register to vote at your town office or city hall, through any Department of Motor Vehicles branch office, in most state & federal social service agencies, or at voter registration drives. Voter registration information is available on the Secretary of State's website. You may register to vote right up to and even on election day.
