  2. Complete the application and submit it to the Town Manager by mail (see below), by email, or by clicking the submission button on the form attached above.
  3. You may choose up to two (2) committees in case your first choice is full. Your application will be on file if a position becomes open.  NOTE: Per the Town Charter you must be a registered voter of North Yarmouth to serve on a Town Board or Committee.
The Select Board sets the process for how interested residents may become members in their Committee Policy. The Select Board may make additional inquiries, as needed.

Youth Volunteer Applications

The Town of North Yarmouth is committed to fostering civic engagement and leadership opportunities for youth. The North Yarmouth Youth Participation Policy establishes youth seats on significant town committees to ensure that young residents have a voice in local government. While youth members will serve in an advisory capacity without voting rights, their participation will provide valuable perspectives and contributions to town decision-making.

Youth seats will be made available on the following committees:
  • Economic Development and Sustainability Committee
  • Open Space Planning Committee
  • Parks Committee
  • Waste Reduction Committee

If you are a teenager interested in serving on one of the committees listed above download an application and submit the completed application to the address or email below.
