ABSENTEE VOTING
Absentee Ballots can be requested NOW. The ballots are available at Town Office 30 days before an Election - ballots will be available May 11th for this election.
3 Easy Ways to Obtain Your Absentee Ballot:
- Over the Phone: Call the Clerk's Office at 207-829-3705 to request your ballot be mailed to you! Telephone requests must be made by the voter only.
- In Person: Stop by Town office to pick up ballots for yourself/immediate family members (spouse, child, parent, sister/brother) or vote your own ballot in person.
- Online: Request your ballot online.
After you receive and complete your ballot, you can drop them in the drop box located outside the front entrance of Town Office, hand deliver to the clerks office or you can mail them back.
In-Person Absentee Voting Hours
Absentee Voting hours are Monday: 8am-6pm., Tuesday through Thursday: 8am-5pm.
Important Information and Dates
- May 11 - Absentee Ballots become available.
- May 20 - Closed Period Begins: Only in person registrations will be accepted until Election Day
- June 4 – Last day to Absentee vote without a special circumstance
REMINDERS:
Update changes to your voter record ahead of time. Name Changes, Address Updates or New Voters may do so during regular business hours to save time on Election Day.
Voter Registration Requirements: New voters are required to show proof of ID and Residency, while those updating their status will need to show proof of their new name/address.
