This will cause traffic delays for commuters.
Please seek an alternate route or allow extra time to get to your destination.

Request your Absentee Ballot now and it will be mailed to when the Clerk's Office receives them.
 
Easy Ways to Obtain Your Absentee Ballot:
  • Download an application, complete the application and drop it of to the Town Office or mail it to the Town Office. 
  • Over the Phone: Call the Town Office at 829-3705  to request your ballot be mailed to you! Telephone requests must be made by the voter only.  
  • In Person: Stop by Town Office to pick up an application for yourself/immediate family members (spouse, child, parent, sister/brother) or vote your own ballot in person. 
All absentee ballots must be returned no later than 8:00pm on June 11, 2024 to be counted.
Last day to request an absentee ballot is Thursday, June 6, 2024.
 
Election Day Polls are Open 7AM to 8PM at Wescustogo Hall & North Yarmouth Community Center.
 
Front Desk at the Town Office will be CLOSED on June 11th, so staff can facilitate the election.

The State of Maine has unveiled the design of a new license plate that will replace the Chickadee after 25 years.
Starting May 2025, BMV staff and towns will begin the process of replacing the older plates with the new design -
please keep an eye out for more information and click here to read the press release!

The Town of North Yarmouth brush facility is located at 41 Walnut Hill Park Way for North Yarmouth residents only.

The brush facility is gated- please contact Public Works 207-829-3274 or email to ensure the gate is open for you.

Brush facility rules:

  • Brush and Trees ONLY
  • NO stumps
  • NO trees over 24 inches diameter
  • NO building or construction materials
  • NO leaves or grass

Join the Cumberland Wood Bank for a workday on Saturday, May 4th,  8 am - 12 pm
46 Walnut Hill Parkway, North Yarmouth
 
You will find us at the end of the street to the left past the RA Pierce building. 
The Cumberland Wood Bank is a volunteer - run community organization that provides heating assistance - firewood and other fuel sources - to those in need in Cumberland County, Maine and surrounding communities. 
 
Help process wood for families in need.
All experience levels are welcome. 
Whether you can simply toss wood, use a wood spliter to split logs, or you have chainsaw experience, we have something you can help with.
 
RSVP is encouraged, but not required!
