skyline farm

horse drawn carriage

Skyline Farm Carriage Museum’s current exhibit highlights vehicles seen at numerous summer events throughout the horse-drawn era. Folks of the day used beach wagons, buggies, fringe top surreys, and hearses, just to name a few.  The children used goat and dog carts. A custom built 100+ year old wagon designed to move a rare children's flying seat ride from fair to fair will be partially setup.

The museum, located at 95 The Lane, North Yarmouth, is open for public viewing on Sundays, from May 16–June 27 and Sept. 5-Oct. 24, 1-4 p.m. or by appointment. Free admission; donations are appreciated.

For more information, contact Greg Cuffey at 892-0188 or info@skylinefarm.org. Skyline Farm is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization.

the unraveling

Congratulations to GHS sophomore and North Yarmouth Resident Devin Gifford! She is a Maine Literary Awards finalist in the Speculative Fiction category.

Her book, The Unraveling, was published as part of the Telling Room's Young Emerging Authors fellowship program.

A blinded world is a panicked world in this debut dystopian thriller. Several months ago, a thick, mysterious fog overcame the world, causing mass unexplained disappearances. Now, after her mother's disappearance and her brother's death, everything around Willow Clarke is unraveling.

You can check out her book at Prince Memorial Library!
