Cleanup Day Saturday - June 26th (8am - 1pm)

at the Public Works Facility - 19 Public Works Way off Parsonage Road

Residents will be responsible for getting their items into the roll off containers.

What you CAN bring:

  • Waste Oil (no gasoline or anti-freeze)
  • Automobile Batteries ONLY
  • Construction Material (used lumber, insulation, boards, sheathing, plywood, etc.)
  • Roofing Shingles (must be kept separate from paper and other building materials)
  • Bulky Furniture (chairs, sofas, tables, couches, wooden shelving, etc.)
  • Metal (scrap metal, appliances, plumbing materials, push lawn mowers etc.)
  • Brush (No leaves or garden debris.  No cordwood) Those leaving brush will need to enter the pit from Walnut Hill Parkway off Route 115. 

For an ADDITIONAL FEE – NO EXCEPTIONS:

  • Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, Refrigerators, Freezers Doors must be removed ($35.00 fee for anything that ever had Freon in it).
  • 20#  &100# Propane Tanks ($20.00 fee) Tanks must be empty
  • Car/Pickup Tires 20” or less ($15.00 each) Un-mounted Tires ONLY!

What you CAN NOT bring: 

  • BATTERIES
  • CAMPERS, TRAILERS, BOATS, ATV’s OR SNOWMOBILES
  • CFL’s
  • ELECTRONICS (computers, monitors, printers and the like)
  • FLUORESCENT BULBS
  • GASOLINE, ANITIFREEZE OR HYDRAULIC FLUIDS
  • GOODS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE ACCEPTABLE FOR  CURBSIDE RECYCLING
  • HOUSEHOLD TRASH (NO PLASTIC TOYS, BOOKS, PAPERS, ETC.)
  • HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIALS
  • LOGS
  • PAINT, THINNERS, OR SHELLACS
  • TIRES OVER 20”
  • TVs (televisions)

PLEASE NOTE!

Donation Bins for Goodwill (Northern New England) will not be available on Cleanup Day, but you can always deliver your donation to your nearest Goodwill Store location.  Log on to https://goodwillnne.org/ for a complete list of store locations and acceptable donations.

Many items we will need to charge for on Cleanup Day Goodwill will take for free!  Goodwill accepts donations of computers, phones, gaming consoles, printers and related equipment in any condition. We’re proud to offer a way for community members to responsibly recycle e-waste and therefore divert it from the waste stream. We do this through two programs: GoodTech and Dell ReConnect.

Due to COVID-19 we will not be asking for volunteers for this event.
