There are 3 Easy Ways to register/renew your dog license:
#1: Go online to complete the registration: Online Dog Licensing Available Between October 15th and January 31st.
#2: Complete the application HERE & mail the following to the Town Office (10 Village Square Rd., North Yarmouth, ME 04097): your application, payment (checks made payable to the Town of North Yarmouth), and a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate. Once it is processed, we will mail the licenseand tag to you.
#3: Make an appointment at the Town Office and register your dog in person. Make sure you have a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate.

Effective December 14, 2020, through to January 15, 2021, all Municipal Offices and Facilities will be open by appointment only.
This is due to the current COVID-19 conditions in the State of Maine. Management will reevaluate the situation in January.
Please keep in mind the following when making an appointment:
- Appointments will be limited to one individual, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
- You will be asked standard COVID-19 screening questions.
- If you cannot make your appointment please contact the office to cancel and or reschedule your appointment.

Pre-K Lottery and Kindergarten Registration for 2021-2022
MSAD #51 Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration for MSAD #51 (Cumberland-North Yarmouth) will be held February 1st, 2nd, 4th & 5th. If your child will be five years old on or before October 15, 2021, he/she is eligible to attend kindergarten this fall. You may drop off completed registration packets in person (mask required) between the hours of 9:15am - 2:15pm or mail, scan/email or fax in the completed packets. You will need to provide a picture of your child’s original birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency to complete the packet.
If you have a student currently enrolled in a private school and would like them to attend Mabel I. Wilson School in the fall, please register your child during that week as well.
To obtain registration forms in advance please visit our website (www.sites.google.com/a/msad51.org/mabel-i-wilson-school). We want to ensure all incoming students are included in the placement process for the 2021-22 school year. If you have any questions, please call MIW at 829-4825.
MSAD #51 Pre-K Lottery
MSAD #51 (Cumberland-North Yarmouth) is pleased to announce that we will continue our small public Pre-K program for 32 students (16 each session) starting in September 2021.
The program will run half days (morning and afternoon session) four days per week (M, T, Th, F) for approximately 135 days during the school year. The program is located at Mabel I. Wilson school and is in partnership with Child Development Services.
In order to be considered, your child must be 4, but not 5, years old before October 15, 2021 and you must be a resident of Cumberland or North Yarmouth.
Screenings will take place via Zoom for eligible children during the first week of March.
