ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUESTS FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
There are several ways to request an absentee ballot for the November 3, 2020 election.
- Use the online request service.
- The voter can call the Town Office (829-3705) to do a telephone request and the ballot will be mailed to them.
- Come into the office to complete an application.
- Download an application, complete, sign and mail to our office.
- After October 4th you can come into the Town Office complete an application and take the ballot with you
- After October 4th you can come into the Town Office and vote in the presence of the clerk.
- An immediate family member may also complete an application and pick up the ballot for you.
Options to return the ballot (to be counted all ballots must be received by 8pm on election day).
- Mail it back to our office (please allowed enough time for the mail service).
- Voters may also use UPS or FEDEX to mail the ballots back at their expsense.
- Use the drop box at the Town Office.
- Hand deliver to the clerks in the Town Office.
Please Note that the Absentee Ballots are not available until Monday, October 5th. All ballots requested recieved prior to this date will be mailed out that week.
Fiscal Year 2021 Real Estate & Personal Property Tax Bills Have Been Mailed.
If you have not received your tax bill please contact the Town Office 829-3705.

Payments can be made online, brought to the Town Office, depostited in the drop-box at the fron entrance, or mailed to Tax Collector, 10 Village Square Road, North Yarmouth, ME 04097 |

Please DO NOT Wish Recycle - it will cost you as a tax payer additional money!
The Town will be charged $35.00 per ton for all loads received at ecomaine that contain 26% or higher of contaminated recycling.
During the month of July the following items were placed out for recycling:
Amazon Mailers * Bathroom Mats/Rugs * Bubble Wrap * Coolers (Styrofoam) * Corrugated Plastic * Foam Sheeting * Helium Canister * Metal Tripod * Padded Mailers * Picture Frames * Plastic Bags filled with Plastic Bags * Plastic Strapping * Shipping Coolers * Shower Curtains * Shrink-wrap * Styrofoam * Tent Poles * Wood Scraps * Wire Hangers * Wire Cage * Workout Gear
These items are not acceptable recycling materials they are household waste products that need to be placed in the orange PAYT bags. Answers to questions about what is and is not recyclable can be found at ecomaine's webpage. CLICK HERE

Terri Young, a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, offers powerful nature-based experiences combining forest bathing, meditation and practical outdoor skills for folks 12 years and older. With the average American spending 11 hours a day on a screen and 90% of their lives indoors, now is the time to step outside and feel the difference!
- Where: Skyline Farm Forest, North Yarmouth
- When: The 2nd Saturday of each month, May through October, 9:00 - 10:30 am.
- We will meet at 9:00 am in the Skyline Farm parking lot at The Lane, North Yarmouth.
- This experience is 1½ hours. One should be able to walk slowly 1 mile in varying terrain.
- Bring appropriate outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes and water bottles. Leave cell phones at home or in the car. No dogs.
- Cost: Suggested donation of $10 per person. Proceeds will be donated to Skyline Farm and organizations that support the local community.
