2021 Dog LIcenses Available Now

Top 3 reasons to license your dog

There are 3 Easy Ways to register/renew your dog license:

#1: Complete the application HERE & mail the following to the Town Office  (10 Village Square Rd., North Yarmouth, ME 04097): your application, payment (checks made payable to the Town of North Yarmouth), and a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate. Once it is processed, we will mail the license to you.

#2: Between October 15th and January 31st, you may go online to complete the registration: Online Dog Licensing.

#3: Stop by the Town Office and register your dog in person. Make sure you have a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate.

ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUESTS

VOTE ABSENTEE!  There is Still Time.

 

iinformation about obtaining an absentee ballot

 

Last day to request an Absentee Ballot is October 30, 2020.

There are several ways to request an absentee ballot for the November 3, 2020 election.

 

  1. Use the online request service.
  2. The voter can call the Town Office (829-3705)  to do a telephone request and the ballot will be mailed to them.
  3. Come into the office to complete an application.
  4.  Download an application, complete, sign and mail to our office.
  5. After October 4th you can come into the Town Office complete an application and take the ballot with you
  6. After October 4th you can come into the Town Office and vote in the  presence of the clerk. 
  7. An immediate family member may also complete an application and pick up the ballot for you.

Options to return the ballot (to be counted all ballots must be received by 8pm on election day).

 

  1. Mail it back to our office (please allowed enough time for the mail service).
  2. Voters may also use UPS or FEDEX to mail the ballots back at their expsense.
  3. Use the drop box at the Town Office.
  4. Hand deliver to the clerks in the Town Office.. 

 

 

REGISTER to VOTE

Need to register to vote?

The Clerk's Office wants to make sure everyone can safely register to vote! Residents can stop by during office hours to register or can complete a voter registration card through the mail/drop box.

1. Download the Maine Voter Registration Card and fill it out completely.  

 

2. Include copies of the following:

  • Proof of Identity (Included, but not limited to, a drivers license, state ID, passport, social security number, or any other government issued identification. Please view the Proof of Identity for Voting Purposes for a complete list.)
  • Proof of Residency if your North Yarmouth address is not listed on your form of ID. (Included, but not limited to, a vehicle registration, hunting/fishing license, utility bill, etc. Please view the Maine Voting Residence Fact Sheet for a complete list.)
3. Return documents to the North Yarmouth Town Office.   Place them in the drop box at Town Office or mail them to - Town Clerk's Office, Town of North Yarmouth, 10 Village Square Road, North Yarmouth, ME 04097

The Clerk's Office will  be open extended hours for Voters on the following days.

 

  • Thursday, October 22nd 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • Saturday, October 24th 8:00am to 12 noon

Poster Contest 2020 - 2021

Calling all Greely Middle School (age 11-13) Creative Artists

The Cumberland / North Yarmouth Lions Club is sponsoring Greely Middle School's participation in the Lions International Peace Poster contest.

 Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest is an international contest that encourages children, ages 11-13, to creatively express what peace means to them. The 2020 -2021 contest theme is “Peace Through Service”. The contest allows students to share their unique image of peace with others, so that we may all have greater tolerance and international understanding. 

Entries are due by Monday, November 9th.
