ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
Expect Delays & Detours
Pratt and Sons, Inc. [207-345-3311] will begin safety improvements project (PACTS) on Walnut Hill Road (route 115) and Cumberland Road (route 9) during the week of June 5th.
The scope of the project consists of upgrading the intersection of Cumberland Road and Pea Lane to meet ADA standards, as well as drainage improvements and reconfiguration of the intersection of Cumberland Road and Walnut Hill Road. That segment of work will include providing 650 linear feet of new sidewalk and 800 linear feet of buried drainage with about 8 catch basins. We will provide an update on the start date once we have a confirmation.
North RD - Road Side Ditching & Shoulder Work
Public Works will soon begin road ditching and should work on North RD between Routes 9 & 231.
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane.
- Expect delays & please use caution.
- Seek an alternate route if possible.
Sweetser Road Closed to Through Traffic beginning June 29, 2023.
The road is closed to through traffic in the area between street numbers 47 and 67 until further notice.
Due to a large culvert replacement project.
