The Town of North Yarmouth is looking for an Administrative Assistant to Code Enforcement & Assessing Departments to perform a variety of administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities.  This is a 40 hour a week position, Mon-Thursday that will be required to work some evenings.  The Town offers a competitive starting salary with a comprehensive benefit package.  This is a responsible and challenging position providing direct support to the Assessor and Code Enforcement Officer.  Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the administrative assistant field with proficiencies in computer skills (Microsoft based), record keeping, bookkeeping, and general office operations with minimal supervision required.  The right candidate must be organized, possess excellent oral and written communications skills, and have the ability to multi-task. Municipal experience is preferred, but not required.
