 | Introducing Nicole Doyle, Animal Control OfficerWe would like to introduce and welcome our new ACO, Nicole Doyle, to the community. ACO Doyle has extensive experience with animals both in veterinary settings, and with the Maine Animal Welfare Program as a State Humane Agent. As a reminder, the ACO is primarily tasked with issues involving domestic animals and some issues will need to be referred to the Maine Warden’s Service or other resources.  | Register Your Dog Online for 2024
There are 3 Easy Ways to register/renew your dog license: #1: Between October 15th and January 31st, you may go online to complete the registration: Online Dog Licensing #2: Stop by the Town Office and register your dog in person. Make sure you have a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate! #3: Complete the application HERE & mail the following to the Town Office (10 Village Square Rd., North Yarmouth, ME 04097): your application, payment (checks made payable to the Town of North Yarmouth), and a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate. Once it is processed, we will mail the license to you.

 | Winter Parking BanOctober 15th until April 15th
The Town of North Yarmouth has a winter parking in effect from October 15, 2023 until April 15, 2024 (per Roadway Ordinance Section 10). Parking is prohibited on all public roads and ways during any snow or ice event.
Any vehicles parked in violation of this ordinance may be towed at the owner's expense.

 | Invasive Plant Workshop Rescheduled to November 16th.
Do you want to learn more about invasive plants and how you can help reduce their spread right here in North Yarmouth? On November 16 at 6:30 PM, Amanda Devine of the Maine Coast Heritage Trust is presenting Invasive plants in our area - their importance, identification, management strategies and how you can make a difference on your own property. A botanist, Ms. Devine is the Associate Director for Stewardship for MCHT. The presentation at the Recreation Center, 60 Val Halla Road, adjacent to Rachel's on the Green, is sponsored by the Cumberland Lands and Conservation Commission.
