Growing Gratitude with a Former Skeptic
MSAD 51's Risk Assessment/Mental Health Specialist, Eric Brown, LCPC, LADC
Wednesday, June 30th from 6:00-8:00pm (Skyline Farm, North Yarmouth)
Practicing gratitude can boost your overall well-being, positive emotions, and happiness. However, in today’s stressful times, negativity can often attract our attention and distract our focus. In this conversation about “Growing Gratitude,” we will discuss the origins of human thought processes and gain a better understanding of the brain’s negativity bias. Participants will receive guidance towards gaining new perspectives on daily moments and/or larger life situations that can improve emotional wellness. Please join this former skeptic for support in achieving a new outlook by growing your gratitude.

Skyline Farm Carriage Museum is OPEN
Skyline Farm Carriage Museum’s current exhibit highlights vehicles seen at numerous summer events throughout the horse-drawn era. Folks of the day used beach wagons, buggies, fringe top surreys, and hearses, just to name a few. The children used goat and dog carts. A custom built 100+ year old wagon designed to move a rare children's flying seat ride from fair to fair will be partially setup.
The museum, located at 95 The Lane, North Yarmouth, is open for public viewing on Sundays, from May 16–June 27 and Sept. 5-Oct. 24, 1-4 p.m. or by appointment. Free admission; donations are appreciated.
For more information, contact Greg Cuffey at 892-0188 or info@skylinefarm.org. Skyline Farm is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. |
NOPE - YOU CAN NOT RECYCLE THAT !
Expandable garden hoses are wicked convenient, right?
But when they're in the recycling (a no-no), they tangle the machines and can injure our workers when pulled out.
Please think twice about what you put in the bin.
Go to our website and check www.ecomaine.org/101 if you're unsure. |
