Select Board and the Wescustogo Building & Design Committee

Purpose of Workshop:
To discuss key items about the project that the Committee believes warrants feedback from the Select Board before moving forward with Barrett Made on any more work. The Committee’s intentions are to make sure their next steps are both fiscally responsible and meet the shared goals of the committee and the Select Board.
Areas of Discussion:
A. Do we want to have a phased project?
- Is it feasible?
- What are the engineering considerations?
- What are the ramifications of not using the kitchen (if we separate the two buildings)?
- Can the kitchen be moved to Wescustogo?
B. What is the impact of changing to a contiguous roofline w/ dormers?
C. What is the cost estimate for the 200 people occupancy building?
D. What is the right size/capacity of the building?
Conclusions:
A. Workshop conclusions will be summarized providing a clear understanding of the expected actions going forward.
