Register Your Dog Online for 2024

 

There are 3 Easy Ways to register/renew your dog license:

#1: Between October 15th and January 31st, you may go online to complete the registration: Online Dog Licensing

#2: Stop by the Town Office and register your dog in person. Make sure you have a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate!

#3: Complete the application HERE & mail the following to the Town Office  (10 Village Square Rd., North Yarmouth, ME 04097): 

your application, payment (checks made payable to the Town of North Yarmouth), and a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate. 

Once it is processed, we will mail the license to you.

 

Dog Licensing Fees:
–$6.00 per year for spayed/neutered dogs
–$11.00 per year for dogs not spayed/neutered.


*Per state law, any dog license that is renewed after January 31st will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.*

Winter Parking Ban
October 15th until April 15th

 

The Town of North Yarmouth has a winter parking in effect from 

October 15, 2023 until April 15, 2024 (per Roadway Ordinance Section 10).

Parking is prohibited on all public roads and ways during any snow or ice event.

 

Any vehicles parked in violation of this ordinance may be towed at the owner's expense. 

 

FIRE RESCUE DEPARTMENT NEWS

House Numbering - If we can't find you, we can't help you!

Emergencies happen day and night.  Could a rescue, fire, or police vehicle find you at night? 
North Yarmouth Fire Rescue wants to remind you to number your house and/or mailbox in an easily visible area.
 
Public Safety Recommendations:
  • Post your numbers on both sides of the mailbox.
  • Use 4 inch reflective numbers [ required by Town Ordinance}.
  • If your home is not easily visible from the road, post numbers on a post close to the road.
  • If your mailbox is clustered with others, post coinciding numbers on your home also.
  • Post numbers on your home where they are closest and most visible to the road.

has provided a list of area Thanksgiving dinners and food programs that are available and open to everyone.

It's that time of year again for the Cumberland/North Yarmouth Lions Club's Citrus sale Fundraiser.
 
The Cumberland North Yarmouth Lions Club is selling 20-pound boxes of Oranges, Grapefruits, or a mixture of both.
All proceeds shall be given to the Senior Class at Greely High School in the form of College Scholarships and to support Project Graduation.
Since 1987, over $310,000 has been awarded in Scholarships and Support.
 
These boxes of Florida citrus make an excellent gift for the holiday season! Your boxes of oranges and/or grapefruit will be hand-delivered
to your home with free delivery in Cumberland, North Yarmouth, Falmouth, Yarmouth, and Pownal. You can order citrus that we'll deliver
Saturday, December 16th and Sunday, December17th to your home, and also order citrus that we'll deliver to the Community Food Pantry.

The PML Home Delivery Service provides free library delivery to individuals who are residents of Cumberland or North Yarmouth
who are generally confined to their residence, either temporarily, due to illness or accident, or permanently, due to age, disability,
or other mobility problems.

TIMONTY BURRIS
The PML Concert Series
Timothy Burris performs  Saturday morning (November 18) at 10 a.m. at the North Yarmouth Community Center 
as part of the stellar and varied PML Concert Series. The concert will feature three works of baroque lute and three works
from masters of classical guitar spanning the years 1895 to 1978. Burris has performed widely in the U.S. and in Europe.
