TRAFFIC ALERT - SLIGO ROAD - SUNDAY JUNE 5th

North Yarmouth Fire Rescue will be conducting a live fire exercise on Sunday 06-05-2022 located at 640 Sligo Road. This training should begin at 8am and conclude at 6pm. Sligo Road will remain open to one lane of traffic for the duration of this training. This letter is to inform any and all neighbors of this training. Senior Tax Credit

2022 Senior Property Tax Assistance - Application deadline is June 30, 2022.

Applications for the Senior Property Tax Assistance Program are available at the Town Office or you can download an application here. 

If you are age 70 or older, with an annual income of $40,000 or less and lived in North Yarmouth for 10 years or more you may qualify for the Senior Tax Credit.

Absentee Ballots for the June 14, 2022 Elections are available now.

 

The last day to request absentee ballots is Thursday, June 9, 2022.

 

Options to Obtain Your Absentee Ballots

 

  1. Online Absentee Ballot Request Service
  2. In Person: Stop by Town Office to pick up ballots for yourself/immediate family members (spouse, child, parent, sister/brother) or vote your own ballot in person.
  3. Over the Phone: Call the Clerk's Office at 829-3705 option #3  to request your ballot be mailed to you! Telephone requests must be made by the voter, only.
  4. Email:   Download and complete the  Absentee Ballot Request form than email it to townclerk@northyarmouth.org.
  5. Fax:  Download and complete the  Absentee Ballot Request form than fax it to (207) 829-3743.

All Absentee Ballots Must Be Returned No Later Than 8pm on Election Day.

Ranked-choice voting (RCV) will be used in the 2022 State Primary and General elections.

    This event has been created to divert usable goods and materials from the waste stream.

    Residents may drop off items that have some useful life in them as well as pick something up that might be of use.

    Although it is called a swap shop, residents do not need to drop an item off to take an item from the shop. 

     

    All items are free for the taking.

    Yard & Tack Sale to benefit Skyline Farm, North Yarmouth 

     

    Saturday, June 4, 2022 - 10am to 2pm

     

    Come shop at Skyline Farm’s Yard & Tack Sale at 95 The Lane to support a local nonprofit.

    Skyline’s Visitor Center and outdoor tent will feature furniture, household goods, gardening items, seasonal decorations and more!  Horse items include saddles, bridles, blankets, and equestrian clothing. 

     

    Skyline Farm Carriage Museum will be open during the sale so people can view the current exhibit, “Town and Country: Rocking and Rolling Down The Lane”.
