Wescustogo Park

Wescustogo Park

Located on New Gloucester Road (Rt. 231), Wescustogo Park was the generous gift of Robert and Elizabeth Nanovic to the citizens of North Yarmouth.

It is comprised of 10 acres of open fields and has access to the Royal River. A hand-carry canoe launch provides recreational canoeists with the opportunity to enjoy many miles of the Royal River. The open fields are used by young and old alike for sports activities, kite flying and family gatherings from April through November.

Wescustogo Park is home to many species of birds and is considered an ebird “hotspot" with 44 species identified. For more information, go to ebird. A bluebird box was installed there by the Parks and Recreation Committee, as well.
