The Town of North Yarmouth, Maine is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Town Manager. With a rural character but near Maine’s population centers, North Yarmouth is an attractive community with a population of 4500; it has a Town Meeting/Selectboard/Town Manager form of government, and has a municipal budget of $3.80 million with 14 FT and 7 PT or per diem municipal employees.

The Board is seeking an individual with strong budgeting and financial management skills, human resource management experience, experience with growth management and land use issues, knowledge of public works operations, and experience with general municipal office operations and software. Candidates should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational and problem solving skills, and have demonstrated leadership ability. Municipal management experience and a bachelor’s degree is preferred, but candidates with comparable work experience and education are encouraged to apply.
